Simply put, I just love clay. I love sculpting, because the act of shaping it feels like a game, one that makes me lose track of time. It is meditation and total immersion... the internet and YouTube are always there - of course - and sometimes I do return to you :) . I love ceramics because the creative flow is full of surprises and unexpected twists. I never really know what the final outcome will be or what it will look like exactly after firing. Even though I've been doing this for years, my heart still skips a beat with curiosity and anticipation every time I open the kiln.
